INGENIEROS, S.A., holds sole distribution rights for the Spanish market
of the UV/VIS/NIR spectrophotometers manufactured by the German firm CARL
ZEISS.The new series of MCS-600 analyzers incorporates all the advantages of the earlier model MCS-500, like the modular design of the units and the long-term stability, as well as including the following improvements: • Enhanced signal to noise ratio. • Enhanced precision in the wavelength measurement. • Minimum loss for drift with time. • Interconnection between different UV/VIS/NIR modules, covering measurement ranges from 190 up to 2,150 nm. • The system can fit in a diversity of housings, depending on the application: 19" rack, laboratory casings, or special designs (IP65 and ATEX certification). • Software for data acquisition and processing, more user friendly and with a wide range of applications. The coupling of the different modules (lamps and detectors) in the MCS-600 series is governed by an intelligent controller (ECC, in its abbreviated form) housed in the system casing. It allows a huge amount of data to be handled, and also acts as interface between the spectrophotometer and the PC, transmitting the data via Ethernet, USB, wireless connection or LAN connection to local nets.
