EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTION PROMECON

APLEIN Ingenieros, S.A. has signed a contract for the exclusive distribution in Spain and Portugal with the German company PROMECON, specialists in the supply of metering systems for optimising coal-fired power stations.
As a result of this collaboration, Aplein Ingenieros, S.A. is able to offer turnkey systems for:

• Measurement of unburnt coal in ash for optimising boiler function. This measurement does not depend on the type of coal used.

• Metering the mass flow of coal. This new technology is not affected by density fluctuations in the duct and needs no subsequent re-calibration.

• On-line metering of air and/or combustion gas flows in tubes at high temperature and with high dust concentration.

The use of these new technologies allows:

• An optimising of boiler performance.

• A reduction of atmospheric emissions.

• An optimising of coal flow distribution.

• A reduction of fuel losses.

• Improved operator awareness of the functioning of the plant.
