CTP, INNOVATIONS FOR OIL-COOLED TRANSFORMER PROTECTION.

The well-known TRANSFORMER PROTECTOR system by SERGI, represented by APLEIN INGENIEROS, provides highly reliable passive mechanical protection.

The only system on the market capable of preventing the enclosure from rupturing and the transformer going on fire, by dissipating the high pressure gradient in a matter of milliseconds produced by a low-impedance short circuit, also protecting if necessary the under-load tap changer and the boxes of feed-through bushings.

The main innovation of the CTP model is the incorporation of the Oil-Gas Separation Unit in the transformer oil conservator.

This feature allows installation in reduced spaces in which the need for an external gas separation tank previously made it unfeasible.

By means of a simple adaptation to the existing conservator tank this new variant allows the installation to be avoided of an additional external tank for gas separation as well as the connection pipes to its emplacement.




The CTP, like its predecessor, allows integral protection of your transformer:

• Enclosure.

• Under-load tap changer.

• Feed-through bushing boxes.
