WATER TREATAMENT CONTROLLERS.

Aplein Ingenieros, S.A. and the American firm WALCHEM have reached an agreement for the distribution in Spain of the Webmaster range of analytic process controllers for water treatment. These units allow multiple monitoring of cooling towers, boilers, closed loops, residual currents or water treatment processes. This control utility is based on sensors for measuring pH, conductivity and oxidation-reduction, as well as the acceptance of inputs from other analyzers such as corrosion, chlorine dioxide, level, temperature and pressure.

Among the main features are simplicity in start-up and operation, the possibility of remote alarm notification via e-mail or SMS. Connectivity based on Ethernet and USB, with MODBUS communication availability for connection to the Scada system.



Among the different models of controller we can find:

• Dual input controllers for cooling towers, WDT series, capable of monitoring the conductivity of two towers with a single unit, and even monitoring the possible addition of biocides from the unit electronics.

• Single cooling tower controllers, WCT series, controlling the conductivity in one cooling tower.

• Condensate monitor and dual input boiler controller, WDB and WDC series, capable of monitoring the conductivity of the feed water to boilers that work at up to 250 psi with distances between boilers up to 150 m.

• Other models that collect the combined measurement of pH, conductivity and oxidation-reduction.

In addition to all the controllers mentioned above, this manufacturer also offers an extensive range of sensors, as well as data acquisition units and remote monitoring by means of web pages.
