15/12/2007 DATA LOGGERS AND WEB BASED REMOTE DISPLAY Aplein Ingenieros, S.A. and WALCHEM, the American manufacturer, are pleased to announce the launch of the new generation of the WEBALERT unit. 
The WA500 WEBALERT unit has been designed to provide remote and local access to the vital information of the equipment installed without the need to actually visit the site where it is installed. WEBALERT displays and logs analogue and digital inputs of any item installed, and generates local and remote notification to the maintenance personnel of any anomaly encountered. The communication and data handling options are completely new and have Ethernet and USB as standard characteristics, so that the PCs included in the plant network can be connected (plug & play) and communicate with the WEBALERT. Authorized operators and quality control staff can directly observe the system parameters and graphics of historical records, as well as receive via e-mail: alarms, reports or log files. Keynote advantages: • It integrates the datalogger and auto-selector functionality in a single low-cost item. • No proprietary software is required to visualize data and adjust the program. Only a web browser is required. • No subscription service or monthly quotas are required. • It allows live access to process data or, in remote mode, to stored data from anywhere in the world. • Instantaneous notification of alarms via cell phone messaging, e-mail or local alarm relay. • Immediate and automatic transmittal of e-mails, including system status reports. • The data can be extracted automatically (via e-mail) or locally with a USB memory stick.  WebAlert will visualize up to six (6) 4-20 mA signals and six (6) discrete signals, giving instantaneous access from anywhere in the world to vital system parameters, including level, flow, pressure, temperature or any other item with standard 4-20 mA or digital outputs.
