PROCESS SPECTROPHOTOMETERS. COLLABORATION AGREEMENT WITH THE MANUFACTURER CARL ZEISS.

APLEIN Ingenieros, S.A. has signed an exclusive distribution agreement for Spain and Portugal with the German company Carl Zeiss for the sale of their process spectrophotometers.
Among the numerous uses that the UV/VIS/NIR spectrophotometers offer are the following:

PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY:

• Validation of cleaning cycles in batch production, eliminating the need for laboratory analysis. Continuous monitoring of the cleaning cycle improves the production process and allows large savings in solvents (methanol, acetone etc.), time and external errors.

• In situ following-up of reactions, simplifying the end point determination of the reaction as well as the control of process variables.

• Continuous moisture measurement of solids and liquids.

• Monitoring of drying and mixing processes in fluid bed dryers.

CHEMICAL INDUSTRY:

• Additive analysis in polymer production.

• Aromatic hydrocarbon analysis in process water (BTX).

• Measurement of moisture and colour (all co-ordinates) in solids and liquids.

• Thickness measurement in films and coverings.

GLASS MANUFACTURE:

• Coating thickness, hardness, transmission, colour etc. measurement in glass, bottle etc production lines.

All the equipment has the necessary requirements to be installed in aggressive environments and classified areas.
